Fountain Glen No. 3 Tract is a 1905 subdivision of a part of Block 29 of the Lucas Tract in the southeast corner of Ocean Park between Marine and Navy.
In October 1905, W. Geo. J. S. Bentley, B.S. Garrison, Julia A. Garrison, G. Merritt Jones, and E.J. Vawter, Jr. subdivide a part of Block 29 of the Lucas Tract. The Fountain Glen No. 3 Tract (Highland to Lincoln between Marine and Navy) is subdivided into Blocks 6, 7, and 8 with mostly 25-ft x 80-ft lots. Fountain Glen No. 3 Tract includes the absorption and re-subdivision of part (green)1 of the Fountain Glen Tract.

G. Merritt Jones is president of the privately owned City Water Company. About 1/3 of City Water Company customers are in Santa Monica and 2/3 are in Venice. Lot 1 of Block 7 is City Water Company Plant #3. The City Water Company also owns Lot 1 and Lot 2 of Block 8.
E.J. Vawter, Jr is president of the privately owned Ocean Park Water Company. The Ocean Park Water Company serves the tracts in the hills of Ocean Park east of Main St. There are no Ocean Park Water Company plants in the Fountain Glen tracts.
Washington Hair, a subdivider of the Fountain Glen Tract, doesn’t own any property in the Fountain Glen No. 3 Tract.
