Time to checkup on what’s happening on slowly changing Lincoln Blvd in Ocean Park. Our trip goes down the west side of Lincoln from north (Pico) to south (Ozone) with some of the changes since November 2021.
2300 (1) Lincoln — Mattress & bedding accessories store Jared’s Mattress replaces Electric Bikes of Santa Monica. Jared's Mattress, with over 25 years experience in the mattress industry, is an authorized dealer of Simmons, Serta, Chattam & Wells, Englander, and Diamond mattress brands. The space was listed for lease for $5,000/mo ($2.50/SF/mo).
2316 Lincoln — DIY at-home eye lash extension company Lashify replaces The Sofa Company in the 7,500 SF space which was listed for lease at $2.00/SF/mo. The iconic brick façade on the Kensington Road corner has been painted black to conform to corporate branding. Sahara Lotti, Iranian-American former screenwriter and actress, started North Hollywood based Lashify in 2016.
2537 Lincoln — The former car wash and auto repair shop 0.44 acre redevelopment site (at Maple, Sunset Park) sold in December 2021 for $6.15 MM. The site is smaller than the nearby 4.67 acre Gelson’s site but larger than the 0.32 acre Pacific Link site.
NWC Lincoln & Ocean Park Blvd — The Muir Woods mural at Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District’s Michelle and Barack Obama Center for Inquiry and Exploration is gone.
2624 Lincoln — The former Westside Independent VW Repair auto repair shop that closed following the death of owner has been cleaned up - but remains vacant.
2632 Lincoln — The 2-story office building, formerly home to a medical equipment supply store, was extensively renovated as a high design boutique creative office. You can now buy the vacant building for $5.19 MM or negotiate a lease for the 3,772 SF space.
2640 Lincoln — Interior design & custom furniture store front since 2014, faithfulROOTS is gone. The space is now listed for lease for $2,800/mo ($4.00/SF/mo).
