From 1921 to 1927, the Marine Furniture Co. occupies the ground floor of the Masonic Temple building on Marine St.

In 1921, A.J. Seed¹ and G.H. McGinley² form the Marine Furniture Company. In November 1921, they move to the Masonic Temple building at 164 Marine. In December 1921, Marine Furniture Co occupies the entire ground floor when undertaker,O.A. Kirkelie, moves out.³

In July 1927, preparatory to moving to 2905 Main St, Marine Furniture Co. has a sale.

In November 1927, Marine Furniture Co. has a sale at its 2905 Main store - “on account of sickness in her family”.

Andrew Seed dies in January 1928.

1. Andrew John Seed (1879 – 1928). Born in IL, Seed moves with his family to NE. Seed marries Hanna T Knapp Seed (1882 – 1961) in SD in 1911. From 1915 to 1919, Seed runs a second-hand furniture store at 2930 Main St. Lives at 2635 6th St.

2. George Henry McGinley (1886 - 1950). McGinley is an electrical contractor -Live Wire Electric Co, Venice.  He lives at 736 Raymond before moving to San Pedro in 1927.

3. O.A. Kirkelie moves to their new building at 202 Main St – between Marine & Rose
