The Fountain Glen No. 2 Tract (Highland to Lincoln between Navy and Ozone) is a 1905 subdivision of a southern part of Block 29 of the Lucas Tract.
In August 1905, W. Geo. J. S. Bentley, B.S. Garrison, Julia A. Garrison, and G. Merritt Jones subdivide a southern part of Block 29 of the Lucas Tract. The Fountain Glen No. 2 Tract (Highland to Lincoln between Navy and Ozone) is subdivided into Blocks 1 to 6 with mostly 25-ft x 80-ft lots with a rear alley.

G. Merritt Jones is president of the privately owned City Water Company. About 1/3 of City Water Company customers are in Santa Monica and 2/3 are in Venice. Lot 1 of Block 5 is City Water Company Plant #2.
