The fire was just put out – and now the non-historic 1907 rear structure has been demolished, and work begun on the 3-unit residential condominium development.
The project calls for moving of the existing 1902 landmark Turn-of-the-Century Cottage closer towards 2nd Street (westward); the construction of a two-story addition (with a six space subterranean garage) with one-story hyphen connection attached onto the rear (east) of the historic cottage; and the reconfiguration of the driveway from the side street (Mills Street) to the front (2nd Street).
