A new banner is up on Main St announcing Cobi's at Dhaba - replacing (but referencing) longtime family-run1 Indian restaurant Dhabba.
Dhabba had been serving healthy homestyle regional cuisine since 1972, but has been closed since 2020 due to Covid-19. The space was recently gutted and a new interior installed. The garden patio remains. Southeast Asian (Indian/Australian/Indonesian) eatery Cobi's Curries (named for part owner Cobi Marsh) operated a restaurant on W. 3rd St in Beverly Grove that closed earlier this year. The Cobi's at Dhaba menu shows curries and items from a wood grill.
