Vawters 4th Street Tract (Ocean Park to Hill between 4th and 6th) is a Santa Monica Commercial Company 1903 subdivision of Block 15 of the Lucas Ranch Tract
In 1887, Talamantes and W.S. Chamberlain sold the 11.38-acre Block 15 of the Lucas Tract to E. J. Vawter. In 1903, the Santa Monica Commercial Company, lays out Blocks A, B, and C of the Vawters 4th Street Tract.
