After less than a month of operations on this 17 space lot on the SWC of Hill and 2nd St, parking operator AirGarage is gone and new ticketless parking operator Metropolis has taken over.

Metropolis is a new Los Angeles-based startup that’s looking to compete for a slice of the automated parking lot management market. There has been some misgivings about Metropolis’ privacy policy.

CVC 22658 is the California Vehicle code section and SMCC 3.12.930 is the Santa Monica Municipal Code section that gives them the right to tow your vehicle and 310-314-4040 is TipTopTow who do the towing. It is not clear that they can operate 24/7 in a Santa Monica residential zone.
