The bowling lanes and equipment have been removed from Bowlmor on Pico (south side between Main St and 3rd St).
The 55,700 square-foot site to been approved for re-development with a new 3-story, 36-foot high, 97,000 square-foot, mixed-use building with 105 residential units, 10,600 square-feet of ground floor commercial space, and a two-level, 229 automobile, subterranean parking garage.
The 24,000 square-foot Bay Shore Lanes building, constructed in 1958, will be demolished; however the City landmark “BOWL” sign will be preserved.
